We have an on-site, indoor media blasting facility, so the weather isn’t an issue as to when we work.
The media that can be used are, soda, glass media or sand. Every one of these has its place and merits, we will recommend what we think is the correct one to use for your vehicle based on the condition and age.

We also send vehicles to be chemically dipped if you would prefer or we think the vehicle would benefit from having it done. This is usually when over 80% of the vehicle will need to be rebuilt as we have found that the chemicals that are used sometimes build up in the enclosed sections and are difficult to remove.

Once the vehicle has been stripped right back to bare metal:

we can see what work will need doing, usually addressing the estimate, liaising with the customer and discussing what else we have found and the way forward if we are doing the restoration.

Returning the work carried out in its bare state

Applying a primer or rust protector then returning to the customer

If this process is part of our Restoration plan for your vehicle the shell and or chassis will be primed or rust protected as a matter of course
